Father Daughter Valentine Dance

 Father Daughter Valentine Dance

The function was made special with activities led by ballerinas from the Triangle Youth Ballet. This is a benefit for the Triangle Youth Ballet which is a 501(c)3 non-profit and a member of the North Carolina Center for Non-Profits. Celebrating the parent/child relationship, they welcome all moms and dads and sons and daughters. So happy to have been a part of this wonderful event and great cause.

Valentine Ballerinas

The music and dancing were led by DeeJay, Doug Daffron of Party Down Productions. He played a variety of interactive dance songs and music. He is wonderful at getting people on the dance floor and creating a wonderful environment  for everyone. Freeze dance, hokey pokey, cha cha slide, cupid shuffle are just a few of the mixers he presented.

Lets Dance

I loved that this function was in the afternoon between lunch and dinner. This allowed for the host to serve desserts and keep it yummy and sweet. They served punch, cupcakes, fondue with different fruits, pound cake and marshmallows. Kids love all of these goodies.

We loved this Valentine game activity. Gather different things in the red family that are good for applying to a person. Garland, cut out hearts, stars, cotton balls, toilet paper. I know you get the idea. Set your timer and the kids get to work decorating there Valentine date. This is so much fun and everyone wanted to participate.

Ballet Slipper Centerpiece

This is a very creative idea. The center piece base is made with ballet slippers placed on a mirror with cut out hearts in different sizes. They added a special glitz with a few candies. The table cloth is a plastic lace over a solid color plastic table cloth. Great look and quick and easy for clean up.
