Henna Craft Party for tweens!

My daughter just turned 12 years old and loves art of all kinds.
We chose Henna as our theme and incorporated that into a few activities for her special celebration.

Using some images on line along with her imagination, she drew an inspiration board on a lrge roll od  paper, which also doubled as the party decor.

We made cupcakes with a fondant topper and using thinned icing and a small piping tool,
we had everyone decorate.
Some of us practiced on black construction paper first!

All the girls enjoyed a professional henna tattoo!

More ideas and inspiration from this party:

Umberella's for decor with elements of origami...

we made the origami a family activity.

Money tree!
(we simply printed piggy bank images onto trimmed green construction paper, then cut with some fancy craft scissors, and on the back allocated an amount of worth.
As she collected them and turned them over, she was thrilled to learn that she would have some extra spending money for more crafts!
