Summer outdoor painting art project for kids

THE GREAT SUMMER EGG SMASH!

We happen to have backyard chickens that produce the yummiest eggs! With such a gift, we decided to repurpose those egg shells for a super summer art project for the kids.

***THIS IS MESSY***
REALLY MESSY

YOU WILL NEED:
* tempura paints ( or any washable paints are best )
* washed egg shells without tops, and without the guts
* canvas or poster paper
* easle (homemade is great)
* gloves (optional)

Step 1: fill your eggshells 1/3-1/2 full

Step 1: choose an outdoor area, and protect anything  that needs to stay paint free, including clothing.

step 3: ready, aim, hurl eggs!
tip: face open top of egg toward canvas/paper.
discourage the baseball throw (unnecessary and paint can fling out prematurely)

GO Addison!

GO Mandy!

making progress!
