Marble Science Project

We love neat ideas! We wanted to share this experiment that works and does keep the kiddos occupied for a solid 20 minutes!

needed: heavy cream, q-tips, dish soap, food coloring, and  bowl

pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, and start adding a few drops of food coloring

continue with multiple colors, and spread about the bowl

dip your q-tip in dish soap, then simply place and hold in the cream, wait for the magic.. it can take up to 2 minutes to start
(tip: if you swirl the food coloring and cream a little, it expedites the process)

it bubbles, and marbles beautifully!

Check out our youtube video here to see this experiment in action:

Have you tried this before? What worked well?
