Pin wheel craft for kids

Supplies you will need:

paper cut into a perfect square, scissors, hole punch, crayons, pencils or straws, 

a brad or pipe cleaner

color both sides of your paper with crayons, pastels or markers

     

find the center of your paper and mark with a dot                       

cut your paper from the corners to about an inch from your marked center

   

fold and glue all corners in the center allowing each corner to overlap slightly

punch a hole in the center of your now pinwheel

  

push your brad or pipecleaner through your pinwheel

as pictured make a knot with your pipecleaner so that is does not go all the way 

through your paper

now make a knot on the other side and wrap the remaining pipe cleaner around your pencil

if you were using a brad you would replace your pencil with a straw 

and punch a hole in your straw

finished pinwheel craft
